Tryouts
Sorry, haven’t gotten around to posting since World Team Tryouts. We had a great experience, and it was definitely educational. Trip ran very well, the big thing we need to work on is tightening up her turns. Heard a lot of nice things about her as well. Can’t wait to get back next year!
This past weekend, I drove up to Ft. Worth for an AKC trial. I’m not sure why I thought it was a good idea, but alas. Saturday sucked, but Sunday, Trip and Mardi both QQd. Trip got two 1st places, and Mardi got a 1st in Standard (and actually ran the course faster than Trip–can you say WIDE TURNS?). Trip also got 2 FAST legs. The arena was nice (and cold), which the dogs loved.
Mardi is now only 4 QQs away from MACH2. I can’t believe how much she’s done this year–she has really kicked into gear. We’ll be showing Memorial Day weekend here in town, and then only a couple of other shows through the summer. The big one will be Reliant–can’t wait!
